Our friend Smokey the Bear must have been grieved over the grizzly bear crisis in Glacier National Park in the 1960's. And there were many other aggressive grizzly bear behaviors that summer. It was determined the cause was people leaving food and trash all over the park......more

I appreciate that the author teaches the reader how to treat the forest with respect. The bears are not the bad guys of the tale.......more
