Synopsis

When, as in the case of The Gnome King of Oz, the story-skill, the jollity, the succession of events, all continue to be so vigorously alive, the author deserves naught but praise. — The Atlantic City Sunday Press Enjoy the twenty-first entry in the Oz series, featuring such characters as Ruggedo the Gnome King; Grumpy the Bear; and Scraps, the Patchwork Girl of Oz.

I was reading these as a buddy read with Joel Swagman, but he’s dropped out because he was reading the royalty free versions and by now, I think it’s back under copyright. Thompson did a good......more

Another amazing entry in the Oz series! I have always appreciated the work done by both Baum and Thompson with Ruggedo the Gnome. I think Ms. Thompson really shines in this installment, not just with the storyline, but with the title character in particular. What I particularly enjoy about the serie......more
