This is a child-sized historical fiction piece set in the 1830s, about 12-yo Nico Cloud, who accidentally stows away onto the Anthos when she chases a cat on board. At home, she’s treated shoddily by her parents who prefer having boys and who are scornful of her aunt, Ruth, who is a scientist herself......more
