Synopsis

Stuart Little is a shy, philosophical mouse witha big heart and a taste for adventure. He also happens to be the second son born to the Littles, a human family living in New York City. In spite of his dimunuitive statue-barely two inches tall--Stuart enjoys life in the big city. He rides a Fifth Avenue bus and even wins a sailboat race in Central Park. But Stuart's greatest adventure begins when he decides to find his best friend, Margalo, the pretty bird who once lived in the Little's house until a hungry neighbor cat scared her away. Stuart hits the open road, heading north in his tiny car, eager for any sight of Margalo. And like any good traveler, he doesn't forget to enjoy the surprising detours in his path.

Filled with warth, wit, and wonder, Stuart Little is a timeless tale that speaks to the heroic spirit in all of us--no matter what our size.

Robin William’s character in “Mrs. Doubtfire” reads it to baby Natalie (while this isn’t necessarily a ringing endorsement it certainly attests......more
