About Cao Wenxuan

Cao Wenxuan is a professor of Chinese literature at Peking University and one of China’s most important writers for children. I loved the illustrations, which have the fun and colorful feel of 1970s-era pop art. The text, a whirlwind tour of the many sights of Berlin, may be a little overwhelming for young readers who aren't already familiar with the subject matter.
