2nd books in a series don't always live up to expectations, but this one certainly did. It was full of the trademark emotion, action and high stakes from the first. I loved seeing Brenna and Vali's story continue, the challenges they faced and some major twists and turns that I certainly didn't see......more

Wow – this story was awesome! I loved being back in Birca for book 2, The Valkyrie’s Rule, with Vali and Brenna.
