Jim Hodges began reading aloud in the second grade with a stirring rendition of Dick and Jane. He continued to volunteer to speak throughout his schooling years, performed as a newscaster while in the Navy, and participated in community theater groups. I enjoyed this book. It was a good adventure tale. The events and actions were consistent with the times. Some of the adventures and solutions, in my opinion, were a bit beyond a 17-year old, but they weren't impossible, so that did not detract from the book. I would recommend this book.......more
