I'm really enjoying this 1950s juvenile science fiction series. They are well written with strong protagonists and a good story line. Although this is a fast-paced adventure that will appeal to middle-school readers, it is a bit weaker than some of the others in the series. The plot is extremely contrived and not very believable. Some of the action takes place offstage. And then there's the usual sexism.......more
