The Velveteen Rabbit

“Real isn’t how you are made,” said the Skin Horse. “It’s a thing that happens to you. When a child loves you for a long, long time, not just to play with, but REALLY loves you, then you become real.”On Christmas morning, The Velveteen Rabbit was just one gift among many. But as time goes on and he takes a special place in a young boy’s heart, the rabbit is transformed through love and friendship, and learns what it is to become real. A must-listen, this timeless classic full of nursery magic, heart, and whimsy has taken a place in the hearts of children and adults for generations. Through it, we are all reminded of how we are transformed through the power of love, and what it means to be real.
