Synopsis

American folklore binds traditions of Native Americans and Europeans . It includes founding myths of America that feature Christopher Columbus and Pilgrims, leaders of the American Revolution, but the fundamental of the American folklore are its tall tales with the famous John Henry and Paul Bunyan. Tall tales include unbelievable elements and presents them as true. This is a story of a lion who believed he was a mighty king and called all the animals of the savannah and the jungle to admire his majesty. He met them wearing his heavy robes, jewels and crown. Suddenly the lion noticed a petite beetle standing aside, so that other animals could not trample it down occasionally, and ordered him to bow. The beetle assured he was, but the lion did not believe and deides to look carefully.
