Synopsis

This is charming! A dog, a cat, and three little mice live together as family in a lighthouse. One day the mice ask their parents permission to go for a walk in the woods. Really enjoyed this third book of the Lighthouse Family series. Especially enjoyed the respectful way the children asked to do what had previously been forbidden, rather than disobeying in their eagerness, and their willingness to learn what was necessary to do so.
