The Birthday Present

When you’re the baby of the family, you expect to receive the most cuddles, the most praise, the most attention. But what will baby do when that doesn’t happen? This little girl has some choice words for those whom she thinks have stolen her spotlight on her mother's birthday. For ages 4 and up. Listen to the very end for the bonus interview with narrator, Evelyn Naudus! The Birthday Present is brilliantly read by nine-year old Evelyn Naudus in her first full audiobook debut and directed by her mother, Audie Award-winning narrator Natalie Naudus. It is the second audiobook from Yu-airit Audio Works.

“Naudus deliciously narrates this counting story. Her initial charm and enthusiasm deftly slide into pettiness, then full-blown snark (sorry, 'extra, extra, EXTRA hairy Uncle Gavin'), yet somehow, she still manages to keep us on her side. ... Naudus’ brilliant narration shines as bright as seven jeweled belts from Grandpa.”
