Scooter!
Book 1: Scooter

Scooter! by Zanna Maybury is a lively tale of mischief, magic, and unexpected consequences. Jake’s prized possession isn’t just any old scooter: it’s gold, it’s enchanted, and it most certainly has a mind of its own. When Basher Conroy tries his luck at stealing it, he learns the hard way that magic doesn’t forgive the greedy—especially when he finds himself headfirst in a bin outside the police station, with his formidable Nanny Conroy in hot pursuit. Full of sharp humour and inventive twists, this story offers a cautionary yet entertaining look at what happens when you try to outwit a magical companion. Ideal for young listeners who love adventure with a dose of fun.
