About The Author

Matt Forte was drafted by the Chicago Bears in the second round of the 2008 NFL Draft. Over his 10-year career he set numerous records, made two pro-bowl appearances and remains one of three running backs in NFL history to record 100+ receptions in a season. He founded the What’s Your Forte Foundation, a 501C3 that invests in the equitable economic advancement of youth and families in order to prevent gun violence. Although Matt has retired from football his next chapter looks just as promising as his athletic career did with his new found passions of writing, fashion designing and business. Matt's athleisure brand, "Workhorse Apparel" is a pro athletes take on fashion and fitness from and experiential point of view and he continues his competitiveness in business as the President of sales for Total Facility Maintenance, a commercial cleaning company founded by his father in law Jimmie Daniels. He is a proud father to four beautiful children.
