About Bernadette Kelly
Bernadette Kelly has written many children’s books covering a wide range of subjects, but the closest to her heart are the books in which she gets to write about her lifelong love of horses. Her two series, Riding High (also known as Ridgeview Riding Club) and Pony Patch, have been published in Australia, the United Kingdom, the United States, and Europe. Bernadette lives in regional Australia with three horses and a kelpie dog. Bernadette’s many adventures, especially those on horseback, offer lots of opportunities for new stories—and that’s the way she likes it.
About Tanya Dougherty
Tanya Dougherty is a classically trained actor, audiobook narrator and writer currently residing in Brooklyn, NY. She earned her BFA in her home country of Australia, before following the call to expand her craft and love of travel by moving overseas to complete an MFA at Brandeis University in Boston. A passionate advocate for children’s literacy, Tanya has performed hundreds of read-alouds in libraries and schools for at-risk communities, helping kids and families discover how truly joyful and empowering it is to be a reader.
