Marilyn earned a master’s degree in library science at Emory University and a PhD at the University of Chicago, and taught children’s literature at St. John’s University in New York for more than twenty years. She lives in Paris, France.

Joniece Abbott-Pratt has narrated many audiobooks for children, young adults, and adults. She has won several AudioFile Earphones Awards and in 2021 was a finalist for the prestigious Audie Award for Best Fantasy Narration.
