This was perfection. This is one of the best books ever written! I know those are big words, but they are not an overreaction. This book is by far the best adventure book I've ever read. Being Deep Underground for 645 pages isn't a healthy read.. Dark & hot as it is, even with the fascinating imagination of the atmosphere, underground river the creatures, even the lost civilisation theories of the Deeps. It's just too long, claustrophobic even.. not much happening here to be that long......more
