A young boy named Ben visits the beach with his beloved great grandfather Sam as they have many times before. Ben is learning how to be with his great grandfather who now has dementia.They have a very special bond. Ben feels feelings of loss for the man his great grandfather used to be, however Sam helps Ben to maintain his connection with him through their shared love for the sea. Ben realizes that he hasn't lost his connection with his great grandfather after all.
