James Brogden is a British writer of horror and dark fantasy. He lives in the United Kingdom where he teaches English. He is the author of the Tourmaline series and many more stand-alone novels. His horror and fantasy stories have appeared in anthologies and periodicals and have been published by the Big Issue, the British Fantasy Society’s Dark Horizons, Alchemy Press, and Anachron Press.
Matthew Lloyd Davies is a veteran actor, audiobook narrator, and director with experience in radio. A regular with the Royal Shakespeare Company, he has performed internationally and in award-winning television shows and films. He prides himself on his ability to tell a story and holds a master's degree in directing.
This is a good, seamless blending of English village history (made up village, but it can be pinpointed pretty well), bubonic plague and horror.
