About Laurie J. Cameron

Laurie J. Cameron is the founder of the leadership consulting company PurposeBlue and a senior mindfulness teacher with Google’s Search Inside Yourself Leadership Institute. A mindfulness meditation practitioner for more than two decades, Cameron has studied with some of the world’s master teachers and is now a senior fellow at George Mason University’s Center for the Advancement of Well-Being and a professor of mindful leadership at the University of Maryland’s Robert H. Smith School of Business. She was a leader in Accenture’s Change Management practice, an organization development executive at Williams-Sonoma and Blue Shield, and is a sought-after global speaker whose clients include Deloitte, Google, Nasdaq, Capital One, McKesson, and Cisco. She lives in Chevy Chase, Maryland.
