At first, I thought the content was heavy for a kid, however, when I consider what kids are exposed to nowadays, I changed my mind. She learns that he will never abandon her and that God has created a lot of difficult situations but for those who place their trust in him they will overcome. Although this is a children's book the message is for any age. With the way our country is failing this story is a reminder that God is still in control.
