Rishi Nityapragya, a disciple of His Holiness Sri Sri Ravi Shankarji, is the director of programmes in the world’s largest NGO, the Art of Living Foundation. He is a qualified chemical engineer, has had a successful corporate career and was an accomplished motorbike racer, besides being a professional singer. Rishi means a seer, a mentor. This modern rishi can be rightly described as a ‘spiritual scientist’, bursting with love, energy and a never-dying enthusiasm to serve humanity. With a scientific approach towards life, he has derived many transformative, practical formulas that he calls ‘Swadhyay-Self-exploration’, which are the essence of his teachings. He has conducted programmes at prestigious institutions and organizations, like the London School of Economics (LSE), Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Indian Institute of Management (IIM), Indian Management Association (IMA), Tata Institute of Social Sciences (TISS) and over seventy universities across the world. He has imparted corporate training at various corporate houses, like Tata Steel, Adani logistics, L&T, Garware and Kirloskar, and has conducted sessions for members of many chapters of Rotary and Lions clubs. In his role as the director of programmes of the Art of Living Foundation, Rishi Nityapragya also trains teachers and volunteers here and has taught Art of Living programmes to millions of people in more than sixty countries around the world.
