The Secret-Keeper's Shipwreck
Mayhem in Gold Rush San Francisco

In the 1850 Gold Rush, San Francisco was a city filled with chaos and greed. Aidan O’Reilly, an enterprising Irishman, poses as an undertaker to bury the secrets of the upper class – fraudulent contracts, incriminating letters, and even murder victims. His caskets and mausoleums also contain his gun-running business until he is targeted by vigilantes and the demand for land derails his enterprise. With the help of the clever Kate Cooper, he creates a shipwrecking business to rid the harbor of abandoned schooners until arson and thievery threaten their lives and force them to bury secrets of their own.
