Adam Gamble conceived, wrote or cowrote, and supervised the production of more than 300 titles in the Good Night Books series for preschoolers. The series is distributed by Penguin Random House Publisher Services since 2017 and currently has more than nine million copies sold worldwide, GoodNightBooks.com. Gamble is also the author of In the Footsteps of Thoreau (1997), coauthor of A Public Betrayed (2004), and coauthor of a volume of poetry entitled Under the Table (1993). He is the founder and publisher of Good Night Books, LLC (since 2005), and of On Cape Publications, Inc. (since 1996).
