Quotes

A wonderfully accomplished and courageous debut, very chilling and sensitively written. The horrors of war are all too real, and the characters are skilfully drawn Roisin Meaney

A harrowing, gripping read of how an Irish nun's fortitude, courage, selflessness and faith brought light and hope to a place of inhumanity and sickening brutality, in one of history's darkest times. I felt very humbled reading it Patricia Scanlan
