I read Patterson books because I'm addicted to thrillers. So, when I first started listening to this story, I thought 'uh-oh' I'm really not into midieval history books. I'm glad I stuck with the story, and I became engrossed with the story. I could not stop listening! The narrator did such a great job, and I really felt transformed into that part of history. Highly recommended as a great story to read.

Of course the book doesn't really leave a lot of downtime. The story is always progressing, jumping from one event to the n......more
