What if someone else’s war threatens mankind’s survival?
Líf, the few remaining Midgardians, and their elven allies continue their journey through the realms of Yggdrasil, the cosmic ash tree. Although it has taken years, they have finally received the precious, dwarven-wrought offering for which they had been searching. But there is no time to rest.
Now they must escape the subterranean passageways where they are being hunted by giant wolves and their violent masters. And if they reach the surface, there is no guarantee that their trials will be nearing their end. An age-old blood feud is brewing between the non-human races.
