The Case of the Menstruating Mummy

Jackie Jones is a hard-boiled detective in 1940s New York. Butch, tough, and smart, she also happens to fall for every dame that walks through her door. Full of romance, mystery, and some over-the-top antics, Ms. Jones is the noir lesbian detective you didn't know you needed.

After a frantic and mysterious call from the City Museum about an ancient goddess, a bleeding mummy, and a curse, Jackie decides it’s too interesting of a story to turn it down. Once she arrives at the museum and meets the mousy and brilliant curator, things just get even more curious.

Together they hide out in the Egyptian wing, getting to know one another in the dark, as they work through the mystery of the mummy, stolen artifacts, and ancient curses.

Through all the strange things that happen, the strangest might be Jackie’s instant affection for the bumbling curator, glasses, wild hair, and all.
