Synopsis

I am so lame. I loved this book as a teenager. When I was young there were two choices for young girls in historical fiction: books written in the 1950's and bodice rippers. Please don't tell me that you've seen the movie and because it sucked, you're not going to read the book. The book is WAY better than the movie. Superlatives all around, please.
