Joanna Margaret holds a PhD in History from the University of St Andrews, Scotland, and a BA in French and History from Columbia University. She has studied and taught in France and Italy. She has lived in France and Italy, and speaks fluent French and Italian. In 2019, she received her MFA in Creative Writing from NYU. She lives and writes in New York City. The Bequest is her first novel.
In Kimberly M. Wetherell's storied thirty-year career in the arts, she has been an actor, an opera and film director/producer, a published essayist, the founder and host of several NYC reading series, and, on a brief hiatus from "the biz," a professional boozy baker and restaurateur.
