About The Author

Jean Van Leeuwen is the author of more than fifty children's books, including picture books, Easy-to-Read books, and middle-grade fiction. Ms. Van Leeuwen lives in a small town north of New York City with her husband, Bruce Gavril. She has two grown children, David and Elizabeth, and a young grandchild, who will surely inspire more stories.Suzanna Toren is one of the shining stars in the world of Audiobook recording. A prolific talent, Toren has been narrarating for more than 30 years. Winner of multiple awards, Toren is the recipient of  the American Foundation for the Blind's Alexander Scourby Narrator of the Year Award in 1988 and AudioFile magazine named her the 2009 Best Voice in Nonfiction and Culture.
