This is a short cute children's book with some lovely illustrations. It shows a bit about the culture of Haiti and has a nice message of accepting differences in people. The title is a bit misleading. I thought it would be more about a girl adopting a cat she found. Art is amazing, though. Colors well thought out. They never do explain why she visits her biological family or why she was given up for adoption. I need answers. They question it, but never give a response......more
