Stray: a stray person or thing, especially a domestic animal. not in the right place; separated from the group or target. His mother didn’t want him, so much so that she named him “Him” and dropped him off on his father’s doorstep. Because his father had an affair and cheated on his wife, he wanted nothing to do with the outside son that affair created. Derrick gave Him to his grandparents to raise, and they did until he was sixteen.
