All I can say this book has some very weird short stories. I got it for free (thank goodness, I don't think I would have purchased this). British book. A nice collection of tales with some weird and wonderful content. I enjoyed this more than I expected given its title. Was rather taken by the idea of a cholesterol goblin (Ghosts of the Greasy Spoon) and many tales raise awareness of animal rights and ecology; but in a fun way that children should......more

Interestingly enough this book isn't available on Amazon.com. I guess it might not be listed in the U.S version or something. Anyway, I did not like these short stories. They are interesting only because they seem to be British in origin, and I'm a bit of an anglophile.......more
