American author, Sherrilyn Kenyon, has risen above abject poverty to become a very popular and influential novelist. She was born in Columbus, Georgia in 1965. She writes under her own name and also under a pseudonym of Kinley MacGregor. Sherrilyn Kenyon has written urban fantasy and paranormal romance, the Dark Hunter series being her best known work. Kinley MacGregor writes historical pieces with paranormal elements. She has 70 million copies of her books in print, where they have appeared at the top of many bestselling lists.
