About Sunanda Kulkarni

SUNANDA KULKARNI followed in her illustrious father's footsteps to become a celebrated doctor. A gold medallist from the University of Mysore, she retired from Bangalore Medical College and Research Institute as Professor and Head of Department, Obstetrics & Gynecology, and is currently associated with the Chinmaya Mission Hospital, Bengaluru. Dr Kulkarni has won several awards for her contribution to women's health and her humanitarian work. She has been published widely in Kannada, with her stories and articles being regularly featured in popular magazines and journals. For children, she has also written How Not To Get Wet In The Rain: 21 Tales For Tricky Times (Puffin Books, 2023).
