Synopsis

True success starts with understanding the rules no one tells you.At work, in school, and in relationships, every space has unspoken rules. Some are obvious. Most are invisible. And when we don’t know how to see or read them, it’s easy to feel overlooked, misunderstood, or stuck.Roof Rules is about navigating workplace culture, interactions, and achieving personal growth without losing who we are. It’s written for students, young professionals, early leaders, and anyone searching for confidence and purpose in systems that don’t always make sense.Through real stories and practical insights, we’ll learn how to:Spot the hidden rules shaping our workplaces, schools, and communitiesUnderstand who sets those rules and how to move through them with clarityBuild strategies that align with our values instead of draining usDevelop confidence, resilience, and the kind of leadership that feels realCreate lives that reflect our purpose, not just other people’s expectationsWe all work under someone else’s roof at some point. The question is: will we keep guessing, or will we learn to spot the rules and choose our next move with intention?Roof Rules is a practical framework for navigating hidden expectations and power dynamics with clarity, protecting what matters most, and growing without losing ourselves.
