About The Author

Robert J. Burch was an American writer of 19 children's books for young readers, including Ida Early Comes over the Mountain, Queeny Peavy, and DJ'S Worst Enemy. Many of his stories are based on his childhood experiences in rural Georgia during the Great Depression.
