A fairly good children's book about an elephant that comes to America to work for the circus. The circus needs only ten elephants, and Oliver is number 11, so he heads off to find another way of life. He tries to be a dog and a horse, but doesn't quite fit. Not bad.......more

I liked this one slightly more than Sammy the Seal, but not as much as Danny and the Dinosaur. Although to be fair, I need to reread Danny and the Dinosaur and see how I feel about it as an adult. The illustrations are fun and make me want to sit down and draw my own elephant!......more
