Synopsis

Nim lives on an island in the middle of the wide blue sea, shared by only her father, Jack, a marine iguana called Fred, a sea lion called Selkie, a turtle called Chica, and a satellite dish for her email. No one else in the world lives quite like Nim, and she wouldnt swap places with anyone. About Wendy Orr

Wendy Orr is the author of many award-winning books for children, including Nim’s Island, which was made into the 2008 film of the same name; a 2013 sequel, Return to Nim’s Island, was loosely based on her book Nim at Sea. Her novel Dragonfly Song is a Junior Library Guild Selection and a Kirkus Reviews Best Middle-Grade Books selection, among other honors.
