Janice Law is a writer and painter who has also been published in the fields of journalism, academia and history. Her Anna Peters detective series was nominated for an Edgar and her Francis Bacon series won the Lambda Literary Gay Mystery Award (The Prisoner of the Riviera). She taught college English for 20 years before retiring to the country in Connecticut where she lives with her husband.
I’ve never been a fan of mysteries. As a matter of fact, the only one I’ve ever read was a rather tepid Inspector LeStrade novel. "Nights In Berlin" is a quick-paced, light, bouncy read that is also light on the mystery to be solved. Sort of a Gay Nancy Drew mystery.
