About Kate Walsh

Kate Walsh is a British narrator with a rich velvet voice and an excellent ear for accents. She has been a professional voice artist for over thirty years, having started her performing life as a lead singer and session vocalist, gigging in and around London. She then moved into stage acting after taking acting classes at the prestigious Central School of Speech and Drama. She has performed Off West End in many plays, including Shakespeare, Pinter, and Shaw. Her natural accent is warm northern, though she most often narrates in standard British (RP). Genres that Kate enjoys working in include psychological thrillers, crime, cozy crime and mystery, romance, and sci-fi. In addition to audiobook narration, Kate is a live announcer for the BBC and also voices many video game characters. This, alongside her honors degree in psychology, enables Kate to create authentic, relatable characters in every audiobook she takes on. Kate now lives in London with her wife and two cats. Hobbies include cycling, running, and hiking. She is a keen baker, DIY tinkerer, camper, and avid reader. Past jobs include welder, cleaner, telesales, tutor, dog walker, and bar maid.

Christopher Tester is an award-winning actor and voice-over artist with a home studio based in London, UK. After three years of classical training at the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama, Christopher accidentally became an influencer in his forties, with over 750,000 social media followers. Christopher is comfortable self-directing or working with a director. He has been nominated for thirty awards, winning Best Male at the 2024 VOX Awards. His biggest passions are literary fiction, science fiction, and romantasy, but he also records fantasy, historical fiction, and business titles. He has performed in a range of audio dramas, including the BAFTA-nominated Unsinkable for B7 Media, and has narrated various titles for Graphic Audio. He records dark romance under his pseudonym Grant Armstrong. His love of storytelling stems from theater, where he first experienced the value of an artist expressing feelings that he couldn't articulate himself. He has dedicated himself to that craft ever since.
