About The Author

Nancy Krulik is the author of more than 200 books for children and young adults, including three New York Times bestsellers.  She is best known, however, for being the author and creator of the Katie Kazoo Switcheroo, George Brown Class Clown, How I Survived Middle School and Magic Bone book series. Nancy lives in Manhattan with her husband, composer Daniel Burwasser.  When she’s not writing, Nancy can be found reading, going to concerts, traveling or running around Central Park with her crazy beagle mix, Josie.  Anne Bobby is an actress who has narrated several works, including books in the Katie Kazoo series and the Harriet the Spy series.

If you are looking for the great American novel, move on. However if you are looking for a nice low level chapter book to try and help your budding reader grow stinger, this is a good choice especially for girls. I listened to it in the car with my niece. She really liked it (she's a second grader)......more

* 4.5 stars * This one was cute. I liked how Katie got out of explaining the talking. I’m really good at ventriloquism myself lol. I liked the story in this one and found it interesting. I think the lesson of being grateful for your age could’ve been fleshed out a bit more but overall this was good.......more
