Harry Turtledove (he/him) is an American fantasy and science fiction writer whom Publishers Weekly has called the "Master of Alternate History." He has received numerous awards and distinctions, including the Hugo Award for Best Novella, the HOMer Award for Short story, and the John Esthen Cook Award for Southern Fiction. Ho-hum, another Turtledove book about WW2. This one is different, though... Most of the time, when he tackles the subject, he looks at the minor tweaks that have radical outcomes. Quick review: so so. Typical Turtledove alternate history. Not very interesting and very predictable. I've read a lot of Turtledove, so I suppose I'm getting tired of him! This just may be the last book of his I'll read.......more
