How You Choose to Respond to God

Joshua said to the people of Israel “If it is disagreeable in your sight to serve the LORD, choose for yourselves today whom you will serve: whether the gods which your fathers served which were beyond the River, or the gods of the Amorites in whose land you are living; but as for me and my house, we will serve the LORD.” (Joshua 24:15 NASB)

Joshua was asking the Israelites to make a choice about how they are going to respond to God. Are they going to choose to serve Him in their daily lives or not? When we are seeking to align ourselves with God we are presented with the same choice. We too need to decide how we are going to respond to what God tells us to do. Does the way we choose to respond to God’s Word make a difference in how He responds in our life? In this book, we will look at biblical examples of how a person or nation responds to God and how it affects how He responds in return.

This book has four main sections with a “Steps to Align with God” at the end of each part. Throughout the book and in the fifth section there are scriptures and original poems for your reflection and edification
The “Steps to Align with God” sections are there to help guide you in prayer, reflection, and action on the things the Holy Spirit may reveal to you about the topic which you have read.
