Synopsis

Sir Tormand Murray is certainly a rogue, but a callous killer? Never. Yet he cannot explain how he came to wake up next to the butchered body of one of his former lovers. Someone is prepared to kill again and again until Tormand is found guilty and hanged. And his only hope of discovering the culprit lies with Morainn Ross, a reclusive, sensual beauty gifted with second sight.

Branded a witch, Morainn has never met a man who accepted her strange talent, much less one who could so easily inflame her passion. There's no resisting Tormand's rugged masculinity—and no escaping the enemy, who grows more twisted every day. And even as logic decrees that a lasting union is impossible, Morainn knows that her destiny is bound forever with the knight who has claimed her, body and soul.

Sir Tormand Murray is the rogue of the Murray Clan. He’s never known a woman he couldn’t bed. Now that reputation is causing trouble for Tormand. He wakes up one evening next to a mutilated body of a woman who he once bedded. Tormand flees the scene, but that’s not the end, two more women, one of which Tormand had bedded has been found dead and mutilated. Morainn has lived her life in seclusion the town has branded her a witch. She has the gift of sight, and has seen the persons who killed the women. Soon Morainn is in danger, for Tormand is set on her as his wife. I really enjoyed this chapter of the Murray Clan. I’ve been waiting for Tormand to fall. I’m a bit sorry that Ms. Howell is going to put the Murray Clan away for a while, because she adds many characters in this book that need their own book. Sir Simon, and all of Tormand’s brothers and cousins.

I haven't read all because I only read those that I found in paperback. Tormand Murray, the hero of this b......more

AUTHOR: I'm one of those people partial to author Hannah Howell. Her flair for writing Scottish Historical romance is awesome. I love the use of the words that she throws in there, "I wish I could tend to YE now, LASS,..... "There are a few LASSES left in this town whom he HASNAE bedded." Her series......more
