Scholars often rate him as one of the three greatest US presidents along with George Washington and Abraham Lincoln.

This is an excellent one-volume biography of FDR. Professor Freidel concentrates on the high points of President Roosevelt's career while managing to draw a complete and poignant picture of his character. Excellent read.......more
