3.5 stars! Still making my way through the late DBF works, and this was the latest in the Lowcountry Tales series for me. Not my favorite, but appreciated nonetheless. I just love the way Dorothea Benton Frank had a way with words, and will be sad when I’ve caught up on all of her books.......more

As far as Southern/low country fiction goes Dorothea Benton Frank is one of my favorites so I was excited to win this from Good Reads.
