This book has gotten things a bit wrong. Jane Eyre was written in 1847 during the Victorian era, which has a very different feel to it than say the Regency era. However, the author has chosen to place Jane Eyre into the Regency period, which I think would have Charlotte Bronte turning in her grave.......more
