Synopsis

Terry Goodkind's bestselling, epic fantasy series Sword of Truth continues with Confessor.Descending into darkness, about to be overwhelmed by evil, those people still free are powerless to stop the coming dawn of a savage new world, while Richard faces the guilt of knowing that he must let it happen. Alone, he must bear the weight of a sin he dare not confess to the one person he loves…and has lost. Join Richard and Kahlan in the concluding novel of one of the most remarkable and memorable journeys ever written. It started with one rule, and will end with the rule of all rules, the rule unwritten, the rule unspoken since the dawn of history. When next the sun rises, the world will be forever changed.

About Terry Goodkind

One would never think that a person with dyslexia would become a writer of novels. However, American author, Terry Goodkind crossed the usual boundary and wrote his first novel, even though he did not receive a formal education. He began his adult life building cabinets and violins, as well as was a marine/wildlife artist. His first novel, Wizard's First Rule, was published in 1994, thus beginning his illustrious career. He is now also a part-time race car driver, and is also a devoted husband and a friend to animals.

To quote Author Terry Goodkind........My privilege in life is the joy of writing books and telling stories about people who fascinate me, the good and the bad.

Goodkind's newest novel is NEST, where readers will be drawn into a world that is dark and evil. He remains one of the most controversial thriller writers of our time.

So, by comparison, the fact that entire pages of dialogue in every......more

No, honestly, it was rather interesting, even with all the super-bloody-football games and the neverending chatterbox about life-affirming acti......more

It feels weird to have finally finished the original Sword of Truth series. It took me three attempts over the years but I'm delighted I've finally concluded the series and think that on the whole I've had a decent time reading it. It had its flaws but despite them it was still an engaging read most......more

Okay, this was actually a pretty good conclusion to the interminable Jagang plot arc. It brought back some familiar faces I love and spent more time doing interesting plot things than soapboxing. A few too many sports scenes aside (did Goodkind discover rugby or something?) this was relatively enjoy......more
